12 December 1875 — Madrid | |
Sunday. 12th [December 1875]. Went to the quartett concert. Trio of Rubinsteins played but Monasterio & Guelbenzu were not up to the mark, sat next Mme d’Antas & B Aylton. Came straight home & Mme d’Antas & B. came to tea with us. Afterwards came old Aylton, Serranos, Saavedras, Pollacks, Albareda, Santos Alvarez dined with us & we had a very pleasant dinner. | |
