10 July 1876 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 10th [July 1876]. Went to Lido to bathe. Henry also went Bathed and Marcellos. After breakfast went to Css Marcellos—& met there Mrs Eden & went with Css M. & Ct Contin on a Burano boat to Burano. It was very hot. Were met by the Sindaco & other authorities & we went straight to the lace school. After examining the work had tea & lemonade & then returned to Venice by 5 o’cl: Practised perspective– Went to Piazza after dinner– | |
