6 August 1876 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Sunday. 6th [August 1876]. Woke with a slight headache. Went to church & stayed sacrament. Service is done in the chancel during the repairs of the church. Walked in grounds with Ivor till lunch with Henry & Mr Clark. My head got worse & I was obliged to retire to my room & keep on the sofa till dinner. Blanche sat with me some time while the others were at evening church. Ivor & Blanche sang in the eveng. | |
