18 August 1876 — Eastnor Castle, nr. Ledbury, Herefordshire | |
Friday. 18th [August 1876]. Finished the sketch from the window & packed & arranged things for our departure tomorrow. In the afternoon went for a drive with Addie, Lord Somers & Henry. In the morning we had a great discussion over some old lace Addie had down to choose for her trousseau. She chose a bit from Mme Elise’s—3½ yards for £154—very beautiful & 26 in: wide. | |
