29 August 1876 — Blackheath | |
Tuesday. 29th [August 1876]. Henry did not go to town so he & I took Grannie out for a drive. He & I walked to Miss Berkeley’s & found her in & Grannie came in the carriage & fetched us. We went down to Greenwich & ordered the frames for Gonzalvo’s two pictures. We then went to an upholsterer’s & chose a carpet for Grannie’s library. Abt 5 Henry & I took a turn in the garden. | |
