31 August 1876 — Blackheath | |
Thursday. 31st August 1876. Henry went away early to go down to see Lord Hammond who has hired a house near Farnboro. It was a pouring wet day & there was no stirring out for me. Henry returned to dinner very cold & wet & having been ¾ hour behind time the train being that much late. | |
