24 September 1876 — Paris | |
Sunday. 24th September [1876]. We left Paris by 8.40 train for Bordeaux– Ld Lyons sent to get us a carriage to ourselves so we were very comfortable. Reached Bordeaux at 6.30. Went to Hotel de Nantes. Dined at table d’hôte—very bad—& little of it– Went to bed early. | |
