19 November 1876 — Madrid | |
Sunday. 19th [November 1876]. Mrs Bruce & I went to church. Mme B. de Lis came up after church. After breakfast sat gossiping with Mrs Bruce till afternoon prayers. Put up flowers afterwards. Had tea & Mr & Mme Belle called. Mr Molyneux (Clerk of H of C.) dined with us. Genl Milans del Bosch put us off at the last moment. Mr Dawson, the Phipps, Kennedy also dined. I had to go off to bed soon after dinner as my head was bad. | |
