20 December 1876 — Madrid | |
Wednesday. 20th December [1876]. Dressed myself in morng. Was to have gone out walking with Emilia but it was not fine eno’. Drove out in afternoon– Left cards on the Molins who have arrived from Paris—met Henry at Recolletos & brought him home. Hatzfeldt came to tea. Afterwards I had a talk with Hill—& she would not apologize to me for her behaviour so I told her we must part. | |
