24 December 1876 — Madrid | |
Sunday. 24th [December 1876]. Went to church twice. Col. Fitch & Kennedy breakfasted with us. After service in the afternoon Annie, Hill, 2 Miss Lilliotts, Mr Kennedy & I helped to put up the green in the chapel. I had to come up to receive visit from the Soverals– I sent tea down to those at work– Was taken with shivering & cd not return to them. Had to lie down till dinner. Dined alone with Hy. | |
