4 March 1877 — Madrid | |
Sunday. 4th [March 1877]. My tic douleureux came on with such force that I was unable to do anything but be on the sofa. Henry went out in the afternoon & went to ask Brehm what I shd do. He sent me word to take 2 doses of 5 grains of quinine. At 6 oclock it, as usual, quite went off. The Phipps, Sr Huelin, Dr Gayangos, Mr Drury (messenger) & Mr Dawson dined with us. | |
