13 March 1877 — En route to Cordova | |
Tuesday. 13th [March 1877]. Made our tea early in the morning. At Mengibar we made some soup with meat jelly we had & eat our cold chicken. We arrived at Cordova at 12.30. Met by Mr Rutledge & D. Duncan Shaw who took us to the hotel. I went to bed till 5. Got up—had tea—& at 7 went to dine with D. Duncan & his nephew Mr Poole. Returned to the hotel at 10. | |
