13 July 1877 — Therapia | |
Friday. 13th [July 1877]. Took Turkish lesson but had rather a headache & shivers– Had to go & lie down in the afternoon– After lunch had a visit from Miss Boyd & Mrs W. Hanson. Recd £44 from Sir C. Dickson for wounded & £5 from Mrs Baker. Henry went out in the 3 pair oars to see Ahmet Vefyk. I got up again to dinner. The Reuss, M. Condouriotis & Corti came to tea in the eveng. Smijth & Ash: dined with us. | |
