30 July 1877 — Therapia | |
Monday. 30th [July 1877]. Bathed. Prepared Turkish. Practised guitar. Went out riding with Henry & Mlle Zarifi at 4 o. Corti joined us but as his horse turned restive & kicked violently at Miss Zarifi we begged him to leave us & returned to Buyukdéré by road & we by the upper one across the hills. Julian, Mr Rassam & the Genl dined with us– Cut bandages all the eveng. | |
