9 November 1877 — Therapia | |
Friday. 9th [November 1877]. Took a turn in the garden with Henry– Cut out. The Hansons came—Mrs Henry & Mrs Willie to lunch & helped to cut out. They left abt 3 & we went out to play lawn tennis Mr Kennedy & I against Henry & Mr L. Gower. Mme Mavromati & her daughter Miss Sarell & Mlle Ballazzi called & came to the tennis ground. Went in at 4.30 had tea & worked till dinner time. Mr Kennedy & Leveson Gower & Capt Fife dined. Made no bandages. First fine day for some time. | |
