21 November 1877 — Therapia | |
Wednesday. 21st [November 1877]. Wrote hard for the mail & messenger. It was so fine & warm that after playing lawn tennis we had tea in the garden. I then walked to the village to call on Mme Ballazzi who was not able to see me & Mme Calliardy who was in. We were quite sad to think our summer lawn tennis season was over. In the eveng we stuffed splint pads. | |
