30 March 1878 — Constantinople | |
Saturday. 30th [March 1878]. Had such a headache I had to stop in bed all day & only got up in time for dinner. It was an oppressively hot day. Mr Sandison & Mr Kennedy dined. News that Ld Derby has resigned on acct of the calling out of our reserves & of the militia. | |
