22 May 1878 — Therapia | |
Wednesday. 22nd [May 1878]. Wrote for messenger and hung up pictures & in my boudoir. Excessively hot day. Sat in the grove all the afternoon. Mrs Henry & Mrs A. Hanson came from Candilli & later Mr H. Hanson, Mr Black & Mr Eyres. We had a good deal of tennis & afterwards walked up to the top of the garden. The H. Hansons & 2 students dined & slept here & in the evening we tried over glees wh were not very successful. | |
