At 3 we went out in the big caique with the Fourniers, the Genl & Mr Cartwright. Went to Chibukli & had coffee, nargilehs & rahat locum. We then went on & landed at Sultanieh where there was a Greek fête going on. We got home abt 5.30—very exhausted from the heat. The Embassy & Mr Chermside & Capt. McCalmont dined.
