18 June 1878 — Therapia | |
Tuesday. 18th June [1878]. Wrote letters. Mrs A. Hanson came to luncheon & afterwards she & I made up the parcels of embroideries to send to England to have sold for the refugees. Then went out & played tennis with all the secys. Mme & Mlle Fournier joined us there. We played till 7. Practised guitar for ½ hour. Messrs Ash: Cartwright & Ken: & Capt. Player the messenger dined. Afterwards we walked in the garden to see the fireflies of wh there were a great many. | |
