31 October 1878 — Therapia | |
Thursday. 31st [October 1878]. May went to town. I copied for Henry till 12 & then went & painted in the garden. Musurus P. came to luncheon & afterwards we went out to play tennis. There we were joined by Hatzfeldt & had tea. Read and instructed Jerry. The Dicksons, Sir Alfred, Mr Ashburnham dined with us. | |
