10 February 1879 — Constantinople | |
Monday. 10th February [1879]. Henry still continued very ill & I never left him except for meals. Lady Dickson called to see me– In the eveng Hobart P. came to see me having just returned from Izmit where he had been in his yacht. Zichy came & saw Henry. The Dicksons & Hobart P. dined with us & I returned to Henry directly after dinner. Henry made Mr Mallet telegraph home to ask for leave of absence. He had rather better night. | |
