Thursday. 29th [May 1879]. I copied for Henry letters for the messenger. We went down the Bosphorus to call on Hayreddin P. Mr Woodford arrived with the bags from the F.A. & he dined with us. At 10 Henry, Alice & I with the Jouberts, Florence & Jerry were on board the Antelope & we set off at once for Mudania on our trip to Brusa. Sir Alfred & Mr Oliphant accompanied us.
