8 April 1880 — Constantinople | |
Thursday. 8th April [1880]. Kathleen sat to me & I painted. It had been lovely warm calm weather when Alice started yesterday eveng but it came on suddenly to blow in the night & a S. wind wh was not favorable to Alice. We had a small dinner party—viz Mr & Mrs R. Kerrison, Mr & Mrs W. Hanson, Mrs Lascelles, Mr Wallace, Mr Oliphant & the Hobarts. | |
