4 May 1880 — Constantinople | |
Tuesday. 4th May [1880]. Mme Livadari kindly came & helped me to arrange & sort all my music for packing to go to Therapia & I was busy getting things put away & packed. Dr Patterson came to see us. Mrs Jolliffe came & we sat out with Henry in the garden when a heavy shower suddenly came on & drove us in & we went & had tea in the drawing room. Hatzfeldt & the Mantillas dined with us a farewell dinner as we go tomorrow to Therapia. | |
