Monday. 10th [May 1880]. Rain & cold. Mrs Henry Hanson came to luncheon & as it cleared up we went & sat in the garden & she read to me copies of the letters written by her & her husband to Mrs Willy wh I entirely approved of. Henry took the Gregorys out riding. I sat in the garden & had a visit from Mme de Torey & had tea there. | |
