1 August 1880 — Milton Court, nr. Dorking, Surrey | |
Sunday. 1st August [1880]. We breakfasted at 9.30. Went to Dorking church. After luncheon Henry & I drove over to Holmbury to see Mr Fred Leveson Gower but he was away; so we sat an hour in the garden while the horses rested & then returned to Milton & wrote letters & abt ¼ past 8 when they had come back from church, we had supper. Sang in evening. | |
