8 November 1880 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 8th [November 1880]. Spence came abt 11 brought a canvass & began a sketch of Henry’s head– I waited on him with paints &c. After lunch he & Henry went to Murano together & I stayed at home painting. Abt 4 Lady Bagot came to see me up in the studio & sat some time chatting. Spence dined with us but left us early & then Henry & I played dominoes together till bed time. | |
