10 November 1880 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 10th [November 1880]. Spence came to paint & we both painted busily all the morning– After lunch we 3 went & walked on the Piazza & from there Henry & I walked home stopping at an old man’s rubbish shop called Moretto. He had nothing worth having. Lord & Lady & Miss Bagot & Spence dined with us & Spence & I sang in the evening. | |
