8 March 1881 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 8th March [1881]. Translated notes for Ongania & wrote letters. Lunched at 1 & went off to Murano to the glass works where we had several new things made of wh I had brought the designs from Rome & Naples. The sun tried to come out but failed & it was very cold. Mr Malcolm dined with us. | |
