19 March 1881 — Vicenza | |
Saturday. 19th March [1881]. We left Vicenza by 10.50 train found Hill & Herbert in the train & Giovanni who had come to spend the day at Vicenza. We breakfasted at Verona. At Milan M. Blumenthal met us & we got out & talked to him but only stopped 20 minutes. Went on to Turin where we arrived at 7.30. Walked across to Hotel de Turin & slept there. Dined & bed– | |
