13 May 1881 — 3 Savile Row | |
Friday. 13th May [1881]. I remained in bed all day & felt very CD. Blanche came to see me in the morng with little Onie—& again for a little while after lunch but left to drive with Susan. She returned at 5 & had tea in my room. She said she had been with Susan to St Thomas’ hospital to see after Reggie Yorke who had had an operation for cancer in the tongue—& he was going on well– Henry went to dine with the Montagus & had to excuse me to them. | |
