Sunday. 15th May [1881]. News came in the morng that Reggie Yorke was dead– I did not go out at all—but translated the document for Monty. Henry went out paying visits. Lady Somers came to see me, also Sir John Drummond Hay & Miss Hay & later Mr & Miss Gambier Parry. Monty dined at home with us. | |
