14 December 1881 — Paris | |
Wednesday. 14th December [1881]. We left Paris by 9.30 train. Breakfasted at Amiens– We had a very smooth passage & a private cabin. Arrived at London 5.50 & went to Langham House. Dined at 7.30. Arthur came to see us just as we finished & sat smoking & talking some time. Connie who was dining at Blanche’s came in later for a few minutes. We went to bed early. | |
