13 February 1882 — 3 Savile Row | |
Monday. 13th February [1882]. Boil rather worse & I had to remain in bed. Wrote to ask Blanche to go cut for me to find stuff for my train to wear at the Drawing Room on Friday. She sent word she cd not go till after luncheon so I sent our carriage for her at 2.30. She came here to talk it over & then went off in search & returned having found nothing. Mrs Rate & Margie came to see me & had tea up with me. Arthur & Monty dined with Henry & when they had gone Henry came & played cribbage with me. | |
