Thursday. 16th February [1882]. In bed till after luncheon when I was able to dress & go down– The boil was better. Theodora came to see me & brought me some primroses & snow drops & then went off. Mrs Thomson Hankey also called– Blanche came to tea. Theo returned & sat & chatted for an hour. Arthur came to see me & brought Mr Gosling who had been secy at Madrid. Mrs Hambro & Monty dined with me & went away early. Henry went to dine at the Temple with Mrs Vaughan & the Dean of Llandaff– | |
