24 February 1882 — 3 Savile Row
Friday. 24th February [1882]. Spent the morning helping Monty to arrange his old prints for sale. Lunched at 1.30. Blanche & little Olwen came to lunch rather late. At 2.30 they went away. We had a visit from Lady Burdett Coutts who was very nice & cordial. She begged us to dine with her tomorrow & to bring Mrs Hanson to dinner also– She asked us to go to a meeting on Monday for a Fish Exhibition which is to be had next year. Henry & I went out first to Mrs Hanson’s to tell her of the invitation. She was out so I saw Mrs Oldham & told her. We then went on to call at the National Gallery on Mr Burton but he was away.
