Friday. 7th April [1882]. Good Friday. I consulted Dr Wiblin abt my knee wh has got painful again & he ordered me to rest it & Theo made me a prescription to rub it with. I did not go to church but read the Psalms to Lady Westminster. Merthyr was better but did not appear in public. Capt. Medlycott came to dine & sleep. Quiet eveng—no cards. | |
