16 April 1882 — Inwood, Henstridge, Somerset | |
Sunday. 16th April [1882]. I got up after breakfast & went to the boudoir. Merthyr came & read the service to Lady Westr, Theo & me– I remained on the sofa reading &c. After lunch I returned to it kept there by my knee & by a headache wh prevented my eating till tea time. We had evening service in the afternoon– After lunch we spent some little time in the morning room rearranging the furniture & made it more comfortable. Dined at 7.30– Household prayers at 10 & early to bed. | |
