5 July 1882 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Wednesday. 5th July [1882]. Wrote letters & then went down to the Bank to cast– Mail came in so I came in. Afterwards I went to the Bank again with Henry, who cast a little. Weather was against fishing over cast & muggy. After dinner Henry went up to Bjornes & Ld Rowton to Friswold. Monty & I went down to the Bank & Bertie joined us. After a while Monty & I walked up to Fagerslet to see what the others were doing. We sat down on the top of the bank & watched Lord Rowton & talked. We then walked on to see Henry who was at Kjespool & we went down to bank to the river side & had a cast there– We spoke to Henry as he went by & then walked home to supper. Blank day. | |
