9 July 1882 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Sunday. 9th July [1882]. Wind changed to N. & We hoped for better fishing. Read & painted in the morng. Dined at 4. There was a heavy shower while we were at dinner. Went out to the bank to cast with Monty & Bertie. Got nothing. After a while I went with Monty to have a cast at Poolen. We found Ld Rowton there, neither had he caught anything. We fished a little while & then walked home– No one had got a fish. The Post came in. Wrote to Blanche. Supper, bed. | |
