19 July 1882 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Wednesday. [19th July 1882]. Cloudy day– Wrote letters for the post then set to work to get on with my painting. Went down to cast at the bank for an hour before dinner. No further news from England abt Alexandria. After dinner Bertie & I went to fish at Hunde with Anton. I caught an 8 lb. sea trout & 4 small brown trout—home at 10.30. Walked down to boat house to get warm as hard as we cd Ld Rowton, Monty & I. They all caught trout this eveng but no salmon. | |
