6 October 1882 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 6th October [1882]. I gave Mildred a music lesson– Then went up & modelled till 12. Alice read to me. At 12 gave Mildred her German lesson. Did not go out. Henry went with Alice & Mildred & I remained together gossipped & wrote letters. Mr Malcolm, Mr Oscar Browning & D. Ricardo Madrazo dined with us. The day was dull & rainy. | |
