Monday. 16th [October 1882]. I was better but did not get up till afternoon when I got on the sofa. Olga Mocenigo came to see me & sat with me but I was too deaf to enjoy her—it was too great a strain to understand her– Henry took the girls out to S. Rocco– In evening he sat with me & we played cribbage. | |
