22 October 1882 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 22nd October [1882]. Weather dull & chilly. I did not go out all day. Read & stuck despatches &c. Henry, Alice & Mildred went to walk on Piazza in afternoon– At 5 Olga Mo: came & sat till 6 talking with Mr Ball & me dress being the chief topic. I had a fire lighted in the studio the first we had this year. Sat upstairs in eveng. | |
