8 November 1882 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Wednesday. 8th November [1882]. It was dull weather & I did not go out at all. Worked as usual at my medallion & had a sitting of Henry. Recd a letter from Css Marcello from Monza asking me to find her a china snuff box to give to the Queen on Sunday. I sent Giovanni out to look for one—but he was unsuccessful. I telegraphed her to say so.
