26 November 1882 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Sunday. 26th November [1882]. Maria & I sat talking & cutting out embroidered flowers for transferring all the morning in the drawing room by the fire. Louis took the girls to church & to the Academy. In afternoon Henry took them to see the Fair at the Piazza held for the benefit of the poor Innondati. I remained at home & practised harmonium till Olga came at 4 when we went together to pay a visit to the Pss of Montenegro– She did not receive so we came straight back to tea– Played harmonium with Mildred playing piano till dinner–
