27 November 1882 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 27th [November 1882]. Sat talking to Maria until 11 when Gino Marcello fetched her & Louis & took them to see Ducal Palace. Then went upstairs & laid on the sofa having a headache & there remained the rest of the day. Dined at 6 & then Henry took Maria, Louis & Mildred to hear the Concert given in aid of the Innondati at the Piazza as he had got a ticket to go the Palace to hear from the windows. Alice & I sat together & talked & worked all the evening– | |
