28 November 1882 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 28th [November 1882]. Did not get up till 11. Mildred recd a letter from her mother saying she was to meet her on Friday & that she wd take her round by Florence, Pisa, Milan &c. Alice took her mother, brother & Mildred to see churches till lunch– I painted my fan. Henry took them to Murano. I remained at home & painted. After tea Maria & I wrote letters. A few people came to tea in the evening. | |
