30 December 1882 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 30th [December 1882]. Mme Bontempelli came to see me. I worked at design of my fan. Idita came in also for a few minutes in the morning. I did not go out at all on acct of my cold. Henry went alone & left invitations for me. At 5 Mme Hurtado called & also Mr Stewart & for a wonder Olga came as since her sister has been at Venice we hardly ever see her– I practised the harmonium for an hour till dinner at 7.30. Knitted & read in the eveng & played cribbage. | |
